ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Interested in public service?
Do you know a high school student interested in public service, making money, and/or working with the community? Join our team to deliver fun, engaging, and meaningful experiences for incoming 11th, 12th, and graduating 12th graders!
Springboard Project provides paid job readiness training and internships at the City of Antioch Departments such as the Parks & Recreation, City Attorney’s office, Community Development, and Economic Development. We also offer youth leadership opportunities for those youth that were previous Springboard Interns!

Workshops & Trainings
The City of Antioch Springboard Project provides professional training to equip participants with the skills needed to enter the workforce.
Internships – $16.80 per hour!
Get paid for the work you do! Our interns are paid a stipend based-wage.
Mentorship
Interns are paired with city department employee mentors and experience career exploration and engage in their communities through service.
Leadership Opportunities
Interns are given opportunities to grow their leadership skills through our Youth Leaders Program for previous Springboard interns.
Life after High School
Springboard participants receive support with transition and future aspiration planning.
REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility
To be a Springboard Project participant, view eligibility requirements below.
11th and 12th grade
Rising 11th, 12th and graduating seniors. For youth leadership requirements, contact youth@antiochca.gov.
City of Antioch Resident & Work Permit
Must reside or attend school in Antioch. Need help with obtaining your work permit? We got you!
Engagement
Leadership qualities and an interest in supporting the City of Antioch with basic program functions.
