ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Interested in public service?

Are you a high school student eager to explore a career in public service, earn money, and make a real impact in your community? Join the City of Antioch’s Springboard Internship Program, where you’ll gain hands-on experience and help create fun, engaging, and meaningful experiences for the community. This paid internship program provides juniors and seniors with essential job readiness training and direct placements within various City of Antioch departments, including Parks & Recreation, Human Resources, the City Attorney’s Office, Community Development, Public Safety & Community Resources, Animal Services, and Economic Development.

As a Springboard Intern, you’ll work alongside professionals, learn about public service, and build skills that will benefit you in any career. And it doesn’t end there—former Springboard Interns have the opportunity to step into youth leadership roles, helping guide and inspire the next generation of interns. Get involved, gain valuable experience, and take a step toward a rewarding career in public service!
