In response to the COVID-19 Health Order issued by the Contra Costa County Health Officer, the City of Antioch will not be hosting in-person Police Oversight Standing Committee Meetings. Instead, the meetings will be held as virtual meetings through the Zoom webinar platform.

The Police Oversight Standing Committee Meetings will be held as a Zoom webinar and the public is invited to participate as “attendees”. Please note that, in order to participate, you must have the Zoom app installed on your smart phone or computer and you may need speakers and a microphone to use certain computers. Please visit www.zoom.us for more information.

As an alternative, the City of Antioch will continue to stream video and audio of these meetings below.  You do not need the Zoom app to use this service, but will not be able to provide comment during the meeting.

How To Submit Public Comments

There are two ways to submit public comments to the Police Oversight Standing Committee

• Prior to 4:30 the day of the meeting: Written comments may be submitted electronically to the Secretary to the Police Oversight Standing Committee at the following email address: mailto:policeoversight@antiochca.gov. All comments received before 4:30 pm the day of the meeting will be provided to the Police Oversight Standing Commissioners at the meeting. Please indicate the agenda item and title in your email subject line.
• After 4:30 the day of the meeting and during the meeting: Comments can be submitted directly to the Police Oversight Standing Committee through the Zoom webinar. Please use the link for the specific meeting to attend the webinar.

How To Watch Live Meetings

Pursuant to Governor Gavin Newsom’s Executive Order N-29-20 Police Oversight Standing Committee meetings will be held as a teleconference meeting. Observers may view the meeting livestreamed via this page. Watch Live Streaming of the meeting below.
