- Are you disabled and your landlord will not provide you with reasonable accommodations for your disability?
The City also funds Bay Area Legal Aid to assist lower income tenants facing eviction with assistance, legal advice and representation as needed.
Bay Area Legal Aid provides legal advice and representation for free to qualifying lower income households on such civil legal issues as:
- Eviction process and defenses
- Illegal lockouts
- Sheriff’s notices to vacate
- Section 8 terminations
These services are funded with City of Antioch Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds in order to support tenant rights and housing security.
